The Clams come in many shapes and sizes, and when some of the larger ones close you can feel the pressure of the water being expelled. These anenome fish really are the clowns of the reef. This moray has a small cleaner fish in attendance. Didn't see too many Rays on the GBR, except on the wreck of the Yongala where bull rays are seen in profusion. These are the famous "potato cod" of Lizard Island. They really are this big, but mostly from over feeding by dive outfits. Many of them have open sores where they have been touched too much as well. Please if you go to see them, even if your particular dive outfit allows you to touch, respect their health and just enjoy watching them. My attempts at scenic/ atmospheric :-) Beautiful, but packing a punch, the lion fish also come in many colours and sizes, but the spines contain venom. Why do I always get photos from the back end???
